Job Title: Summer Camp Aide
Location: St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic School – St. Louis, MO
Reports To: Camp Director / Principal
Employment Type: Part-Time / Seasonal (Summer)
St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic School is seeking enthusiastic and responsible Summer Camp Aides to assist with its summer program. Summer Camp Aides will help supervise and engage children in a safe, faith-filled, and fun environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, demonstrates a positive attitude, and supports the Catholic mission of the school.
Assist in supervising children during indoor and outdoor activities, snacks, crafts, and free play.
Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all campers.
Help manage daily transitions and maintain clear routines.
Assist the Camp Director and lead staff in organizing and leading age-appropriate games, crafts, and enrichment activities.
Help with setup and cleanup of materials and activity areas.
Support participation and encourage positive social interaction among campers.
Model Christian values through words and actions.
Support a welcoming and faith-centered camp atmosphere in line with Catholic teachings.
Work cooperatively with camp staff, volunteers, and school personnel.
Report any behavioral or safety concerns to the Camp Director promptly.
Participate in briefings, training sessions, or meetings as required.
Must be at least 16 years old.
Experience working with children in a camp, school, or volunteer setting preferred.
Practicing Catholic preferred or willing to support the mission and values of Catholic education.
Ability to be flexible, responsible, and energetic in a fast-paced environment.
Must complete Archdiocese of St. Louis Safe Environment training before starting employment.
