Assistant Curator, Contemporary Art and Social Justice Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco Under the supervision of the Curator in Charge, the Assistant Curator supports the Department in all areas of day-to-day operations related to exhibitions, programs, acquisitions, and publications that uplift and further social justice within and through artistic and museological practice. Application deadline: Priority will be given to applications submitted by May 4th. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until filled. Responsibilities Assist in the planning and execution of exhibitions. Support educational programs related to contemporary art and social justice. Contribute to the development of acquisitions that align with the museum's mission. Help in the publication process for exhibition catalogs and other materials. Qualifications Master's degree in Art History, Museum Studies, or related field. Experience in curatorial work or similar roles. Strong understanding of contemporary art and social justice issues.
