Job Summary Are you ready to take the next big step in your automotive industry career? Our W. Broad St location is seeking a full-time Automotive General Manager to help build, oversee, and motivate our talented team of professionals.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a track record of successful management positions with at least three years of experience, and a strong desire to succeed with integrity.

Responsibilities - Oversee daily operations, remedy customer complaints promptly, and ensure customer satisfaction metrics are met
- Face to face with customers, understanding and addressing their vehicle concerns
- Create and build work orders, including finding parts and labor times, on a computer program to sell jobs to customers
- Efficiently lead and communicate with a team of technicians within multiple bays
- Keep track of parts purchases from local vendors
- Bill out customers, as well as keeping track of accounts receivable for location's fleet/insurance/trade accounts and daily closing paperwork
- Attend manager meetings and establish good working relationships with owners, managers, and dealership staff to establish sales processes and recommend daily unit sales
- Implement growth strategies that align with automotive group objectives by carefully assessing profit and loss while maintaining vehicle inventory that meets the needs of the local market
- Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for accuracy and completion before sharing them with upper shop management
- Learn and uphold all local, state, and federal regulations impacting vehicle sales, and the automotive industry as a whole
Qualifications - One or more years of experience in a sales manager or general manager position for a dealership or auto group is necessary
- Knowledge of the automotive industry and trends
- Possess a state-issued drivers license and acceptable driving record to operate customer and company-owned vehicles
- Strong communication skills; a track record of leadership; and the ability to interpret profit and loss statements are necessary for success
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Basic computer skills
- Organizational skills
