The BMS Operator is responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of the Building Management System (BMS), which controls various building systems such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), lighting, and energy management systems. The role includes real-time monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring that building systems are operating efficiently and within set parameters. Key Responsibilities include monitoring and operating BMS systems, performing diagnostics and troubleshooting, handling alarms and faults, generating reports, assisting in system upgrades and configuration, ensuring compliance and safety, providing technical support, and acting as first point of contact in emergencies. Required skills include technical knowledge of control theory and building automation systems, 0-2 years experience, communication skills, problem solving, attention to detail, teamwork, and preferred certifications in HVAC or related systems. Educational requirements include a Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field. The work environment involves control room work with occasional physical inspections and may require shift work including weekends and holidays.
