Western World is looking for a professional is looking for a professional ready to take the next step in their career to join a diverse team of operations professionals supporting Commercial Insurance Business Units.
The Operations Analyst will is responsible for assisting the Operations Manager in the daily support of system integration, design, maintenance, and processing activities. Will support relationships between Underwriting and Operations/IT processes. The Operations Analyst will also conduct training on proprietary system platform.
Job Description:
Assistance with and coordination of testing and rollouts of new underwriting systems products and enhancements
Manage and perform User Acceptance Testing, create test case scenarios, document test case results/defects with details
Manage production bugs and escalation to IT and management teams
Work with ticket tracking system
Analyze and resolve data quality issues
Support relationship between the underwriters, agents and IT developers
Assist with document requirements that will be presented to IT for development
Support help desk emails for internal and external users by triaging underwriting system issues for an online insurance Portal
Ad hoc reporting as requested including data validation
What we are looking for
Analytical and organized
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Good interpersonal, communication and computer skills
Comfortable with a dynamic environment that has continuously changing priorities
Adept problem solver
Ideal Experience
Bachelor's Degree preferred
2+ years of experience in Insurance, Project Management and/or IT fields
Fundamental understanding of the insurance process, life cycle and lexicon
Proficiency of Microsoft Office products preferred
