Youth Caregiver Supervisor

Pay Rate is set at $19.25/hour

LUKE is seeking a compassionate, dynamic, and mission-driven Caregiver Supervisor to guide and support our dedicated team serving youth and families at the U.S. Border Patrol Tucson Sector. In this critical leadership position, you won’t just manage people—you’ll inspire them.

As a Caregiver Supervisor, you’ll:

• Lead a team committed to providing safety, dignity, and care for youth
• Ensure top-tier support standards and compliance in a high-impact, fast-paced setting
• Serve as a trusted mentor and resource for caregivers

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· 18 years of age or older

· Ability to pass a CBP background investigation

· Ability to perform vigorous physical activity (bending, standing, walking, sitting, etc.) for extended periods

· Ability to lift 40 lbs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience

· Experience training new hires

· Comfortable with technology (Tablets, iPads, basic software tools)

· Excellent communication, scheduling, and problem-solving skills

· Proactive mindset—ready to jump in, lead, and get things done

· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

· Ability to work well under pressure

CORE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Lead, supervise, and support caregivers during assigned shifts

· Assign daily and weekly tasks to team members

· Motivate your team through clear communication, steady guidance, and well-defined expectations

· Step in as a hands-on leader when needed—your guidance matters every day

· Maintain accurate shift logs and operational records

· Uphold organizational policies with fairness and consistency

· Report employee issues and significant incidents

· Monitor and improve workflow, recommending innovative solutions

· Track employee time and attendance (including breaks and sick leave)
