About the Role
The Company is seeking a visionary and collaborative Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its mission of driving systemic change and fostering community-driven solutions. The successful candidate will be a strategic and action-oriented leader, with a proven track record in nonprofit executive management, and a deep commitment to equity and social impact. The CEO will be responsible for strategic and financial leadership, community engagement, and will serve as the chief brand steward, building trust and relevance across the region. This role demands a leader with a minimum of 10 years' progressive experience, including at least 5 years in a senior executive or board role within the nonprofit sector, and a strong background in fundraising, financial management, and operational oversight. Key responsibilities for the CEO include leading a high-performing team, partnering with the Board of Directors, and convening stakeholders across various sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of community development, public-private partnerships, and a successful history of securing philanthropic, corporate, and institutional support. They should embody the highest ethical standards, be adept at strategic thinking, and have a proven ability to manage complex budgets and business operations. The role requires a leader with a deep understanding of the local community, experience in building trust, and a demonstrated ability to drive community-wide impact through strategic partnerships and collaborative efforts. The CEO will also be responsible for fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and shared success, and for ensuring that the organization is equipped to meet its mission with the necessary tools and support.
