*Job Overview:*

Seeking a skilled Cisco Wireless Engineer to review, redesign, and implement wireless solutions. Extensive experience with Cisco technologies required. High-level engineering role within the Engineering and Service Delivery section. Covers network architecture and Tier 4 troubleshooting. Strong technical background in wireless networking required.

*Required Skills:*
* Cisco Wireless Technologies: Deep understanding of WLCs, APs, RF management, mobility, security.
* Wireless Protocols: Proficiency in IEEE 802.11 standards, Wi-Fi certifications.
* Network Design and Implementation: Design, plan, and implement complex wireless networks.
* Troubleshooting and Optimization: Diagnose and resolve wireless network issues, optimize performance.
* Security: Knowledge of WPA/WPA2(3) encryption, guest access.
* Automation and Orchestration: Familiarity with Cisco DNA Center.
* Documentation: Create and maintain network documentation.

*Technical Skills and Certifications:*
* Cisco Certifications: CCNP Wireless or higher preferred.
* Wireless Certifications: CWNP certifications advantageous.
* Network Protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS.
* Operating Systems: Proficiency in Windows, macOS, Linux.
* Network Management Tools: Experience with Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Wireshark.

*Specific Job Responsibilities:*
* RF Planning: Conduct RF surveys, optimize AP placement.
* Mobility Management: Implement and troubleshoot mobility features.
* Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement and support.
* Security Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Up to $55.00 per hour
