Job Description

Our client in the non-profit space is looking for a Copywriter to join their team up to 30 hrs per week, ongoing. You will support efforts across Email, SEO, Meta, Google Ads, and programmatic platforms. You will work across multiple nonprofit accounts, translating mission-driven messaging into high-performing digital ads that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion. Responsibilities:

  • Write and refine ad copy for Meta, Google Ads, and programmatic platforms, tailored to nonprofit audiences and campaign objectives.
  • Collaborate with creative agency to align creative strategy, messaging, and performance insights across clients.
  • Develop and iterate on headlines, descriptions, CTAs, and landing page copy that reflect each organization’s voice and goals.
  • Ensure that ad copy is clear, compelling, and aligned with campaign goals.
  • Review performance metrics and A/B test results to optimize copy for click-through and conversion.
  • Serve as a key liaison between our internal team and our client's creative agency partner.
  • Translate complex nonprofit language into accessible, action-oriented messaging.
  • Manage multiple client deliverables and timelines, ensuring consistency and quality across campaigns.
  • Participate in creative reviews, strategy sessions, and performance debriefs with agency and internal teams.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of copywriting experience in digital advertising, ideally with nonprofit or mission-driven clients - strong portfolio of ad copy across Meta, Google Ads, and programmatic platforms.
  • Deep understanding of performance marketing principles and audience targeting.
  • Experience collaborating with creative agencies or external partners.
  • Ability to synthesize data and feedback into actionable copy improvements.
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.
  • May occasionally require flexible scheduling to accommodate time zone differences.
  • Skilled at prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and handling multiple deliverables while maintaining quality.
  • Ability to craft original, engaging ideas and adapt messaging for diverse platforms and audiences.
  • Strong team player with experience working cross-functionally and fostering clear communication.
  • Connects copywriting and design decisions to campaign goals, audience insights, and performance data for measurable impact.
