Nuclear Pharmacy is responsible for providing radiopharmaceuticals and other drugs to medical care providers under highly regulated State and Federal guidelines and may also consult with or advise physicians and nuclear medicine technologists on the safe and efficacious use of radioactive drugs for diagnosis and therapy. Pharmacy Services & Delivery is responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. The role involves preparing doses for shipment, preparing cases, wiping doses, and loading and unloading containers in keeping with prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Responsibilities include preparing and making deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-CDL), packaging radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performing testing, loading/unloading containers, using a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtaining route stop information and navigation, processing packages returned from customer locations, maintaining vehicles in proper working condition and performing minor roadside repairs, performing general facility cleaning and organization, processing incoming packages for pharmacy use, and performing equipment daily checks. Candidates must have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience preferred, be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver's license with a good driving record, and have prior delivery driving experience as a plus. The job requires the ability to manage up to 75 pounds, drive in all weather conditions during day or night hours, sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods, strong customer service and communication skills, flexibility to work different days, schedules, shifts, overtime, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations, and ability to use computers and tablets. The position pays $17.00 per hour and is not bonus eligible.
