Job Title: Director of Sourcing and Production - apparel/accessories
Job Location: Central, New Jersey
Salary- $150,000 +

Well established apparel/accessories company is seeking a Director of Production and Sourcing. Communicate with the the factories on a daily basis . Manage the production and sourcing team! Must be and strong leader and extremely detailed oriented and have very strong communication skills. The company has a strong understanding of the importance of work-life balance, and they offer summer Friday’s all year.
Responsibilities
· Manage all communications with the production and sourcing team.
· Direct and oversee all submits and ensures comments are going out in a timely manner from
cross-functional teams.
· Manage and review vendor reports weekly with sourcing team & follow up on pending items.
· Review carton markings
· Communicate with design team ensuring all detailed tech packs are sent to the factories.
· Communicate with factories regarding all souring, costing and quality assurance
· Review test reports & troubleshoot failures with the team.
· Oversee all Issue/edit purchase orders in AMT.
· Oversee Fill out any testing forms for factories
· Follow up with logistics team and import department ensuring on time deliveries
· Follow up for comments/communicate approvals to factories.
· Approve all orders placed with overseas factories.
Experience
Qualifications & Experience:
· 8 plus years in production in apparel or accessories
· Experience working with overseas factories on costing
· Experience with the private label and licensing approval process
· Strong leadership skills
• College degree
