Overview AIT is seeking a talented and motivated Domestic Customer Tracking Agent I to join our team to track and trace shipments with high accuracy. The team ensures that shipments are updated timely, troubleshoots service disruptions, and communicates service delays.
Responsibilities - Track and trace shipments as necessary to ensure proper movement and delivery Participates in the development and use of suitable sales forecasting processes and models.
- Update shipments with current shipment status to include comprehensive notes
- Communicate daily with AIT field offices as well as AIT's agent/carrier networks to ensure on-time performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve service disruptions
- Maintain familiarity with conditions that require special services and ensure accurate data entry of these costs
- Answer Departmental phone lines and emails
- Cultivate and foster trusting relationships with AIT's agent/carrier networks
- The wage range for this position is $20.70-$28.60 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience

Other Skills We Hope to See: - High School/GED required - Associates degree in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain preferred
- Minimum of 1 year Customer Service or Tracking experience in a freight forwarding environment
- Prior experience working with AS400 a plus
- Knowledge of U.S. geography and airport codes a plus
- Basic to intermediate PC skills - MS Office
- Ability effectively prioritize and manage time and tasks
- Detailed Oriented
- Excellent organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong Communication skills both verbal and written
