• Class C (Union) $21.80/hour

• Quarterly safety  BONUS  opportunities
\n
• Wage increases yearly
\n
• Monday-Friday. NO WEEKENDS
\n
• 2-3 Overnights a week *Hotel expenses and per diem provided*  
\n
• Must be okay with assisting in unloading truck as needed. Customers are required to help with the boxes that weigh 75 lbs. Normal box weight is around 30 lbs. Approximately 20-30 boxes delivered each day.

What You Will Be Doing

\n

 

\n

Successful candidates for the Delivery Driver role are motivated and eager to provide a high level of customer service. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required

\n

\n
• Current and active Driver’s license with good driving record
\n
• Drives truck to destination.
\n
• Distributes receipts for load picked up.
\n
• Occasionally collects payment for goods delivered and for delivery charges.
\n
• Maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations.
\n
• Contacts customers to advise delivery times.
\n
• Unloads truck.
\n
• Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
\n

Skills You Bring:

\n

\n
• Must be DL Licensed, must pass Driver's Testing, and must pass DOT Physical / Drug Testing.
\n
• Previous pre/post trip inspections preferred
\n
• Delivery driving experience preferred
\n
• Proficient in reading and writing English
\n
• Capable of working in a physically demanding work environment which includes bending; stretching; pushing, pulling, and lifting a MINIMUM of 75 LBS; and extensive fast-paced walking in all weather conditions throughout the year
\n
• Knowledge of basic math, ability to read and write the English language, and map reading skills'
\n
