American Asset Management company in New York seeks a Japanese / English Translator to support the VP Client Service Department located remotely from Japan in the following tasks: RFP writing in Japanese (mostly translation, creating and maintaining a Japanese – English RFP answers database) Client reporting (quarterly) in English and Japanese (downloading data from internal tools, filling out client format in Excel and Word) Other client service support in Japanese (reviewing 3rd party translations, etc.) Requirements: Excellent business writing skills in Japanese and English, with translation proficiency between the two languages (E to J / J to E). Financial translation experience in the Asset Management field is preferred. 1-2 years of reporting or middle/back office experience at an Asset Management company is preferred. Attention to detail is critical. Number of hours: 100 hours in a Quarter End (Part Time work). The assignment is part-time contract-based, paid in US dollars (wired monthly).
