Job Summary
The Executive Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the hotel. This position is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping department, ensuring that all areas meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The Executive Housekeeper will manage staff, develop cleaning schedules, and implement best practices in housekeeping operations to enhance guest satisfaction and uphold the reputation of the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, including cleaning schedules and staff assignments.
• Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities are cleaned to the highest standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
• Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service skills.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
• Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
• Implement effective floor care procedures for various surfaces to maintain their appearance and longevity.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning techniques, including industrial cleaning and floor care.
• Strong background in hospitality with prior hotel experience preferred.
• Knowledge of janitorial practices and custodial management is essential.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
