Our client is hiring an Export Shipping Coordinator
Integrity Staffing is assisting our client in Elizabeth, NJ with adding an Export Shipping Coordinator to their team! This is a Direct Hire opportunity with an established freight forwarding company. About the Role: To coordinate and manage the end-to-end process for international export shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a thorough understanding of international trade regulations and logistics.


Pay Rate: $50,000 annually


Shift/Schedule : 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday thru Friday


Key Responsibilities:

• Client communication: Act as the main point of contact for clients, answering inquiries, providing quotes, and giving regular updates on shipment status.
• Logistics coordination: Arrange and coordinate domestic transport, carrier bookings, and pickups for international shipments.
• Documentation: Prepare and review all necessary export documentation, such as bills of lading, invoices, and customs compliance forms.
• Problem resolution: Investigate and resolve issues related to delays, damages, or customs discrepancies.
• Compliance: Ensure all shipments comply with international trade regulations and customs procedures.
• Shipment tracking: Track and trace shipments to ensure timely delivery and provide updates to relevant parties.
• Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications.

Requirements:

• Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or international shipping is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of international trade regulations and customs documentation.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
