Fine art gallery and gift shop in Volcano Village seeks organized, knowledgeable, flexible, part-time salesperson. Some art background a plus. Seeking independent contractor with reliable transportation. Being a "people person" is important. Lunch is provided. Must live on the East side of the Big Island within reasonable distance to Volcano. A great opportunity to be part of a community of artists and creative people!
Company Description Volcano Garden Arts is situated on a World Heritage site a mile from Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park.
Discover the foremost in contemporary Hawaiian arts and fine crafts: ceramics, sculpture, fiber arts, painting and many other media. Our selection ranges from fresh, fun collectibles to works of significant impact, and from pocket-sized to larger-than-life. The entire complex is located within lush gardens and historic structures right in Volcano Village near lodging and restaurants. We welcome self-guided tours of the grounds and gallery. We recently added our "Secret Garden" walking trail. VGA is also home to the celebrated Café Ono which is open for lunch from Thursday to Sunday every week.
