Position: Laboratory Systems Implementation Lead Client: Large Healthcare Provider Duration: Ongoing through November 2026 Start: ASAP Location: Remote - may be some travel to the Midwest Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to support the Roche/Sysmex project. This role requires expertise in Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and medical device integrations. The successful candidate will manage a team of both onsite and remote consultants, ensuring the successful implementation and integration of clinical software solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support the Roche/Sysmex project through all stages of clinical software implementation, ensuring smooth execution. Manage and coordinate a team of resources, including onsite and remote consultants, ensuring optimal performance and task completion. Develop detailed work plans, ensuring all tasks are clearly defined, resourced, and on track for completion within timelines. Oversee integrations with Oracle Cerner, including PathNet build and integration with medical devices through Oracle Phoenix and iBUS. Support the implementation of Roche Navify Lab Operations or Sysmex CareSphere middleware solutions. Foster collaboration between Laboratory IT teams and operational teams, translating clinical requirements into precise software specifications. Guide project teams in achieving project milestones and maintaining consistent communication with stakeholders. Requirements: Proven leadership experience in Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), specifically across all stages of clinical software implementation. Managerial experience, including leading and coordinating both onsite and remote teams of consultants. Ability to create and manage detailed work plans and coordinate tasks and resources effectively. Expertise with Oracle Cerner - PathNet build and integrations with medical devices, including Oracle Phoenix and iBUS. Experience with Roche Navify Lab Operations or Sysmex CareSphere medical device middleware solutions. Preferred Qualifications: Extensive project management experience, particularly in leading large-scale laboratory implementation projects. Proficiency in laboratory automation and middleware solutions, including Data Innovation Instrument Manager. Experience integrating third-party applications with Epic Beaker. Ability to collaborate effectively with Laboratory IT and operational teams to translate clinical requirements into software specifications. Clinical Laboratory Certification is highly preferred.
