Feldkamp Mechanical is a leading mechanical contractor in the Ohio Valley region, specializing in commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems . We are seeking a skilled HVAC Project Manager to join our Lexington, KY office. This role will play a key part in driving the success of large-scale HVAC projects by managing all phases from planning through completion.

Position Summary

As the HVAC Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing construction projects to ensure they are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and at the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong background in HVAC systems, effective leadership, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all activities for assigned HVAC projects.

• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and reporting.

• Review engineering and construction drawings for HVAC accuracy and constructability.

• Supervise subcontractors, project coordinators, and foremen to ensure quality and efficiency.

• Serve as the primary point of contact with clients, design teams, and other stakeholders.

• Prepare and manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and pay applications.

• Work closely with operations leadership to allocate labor and equipment resources.

• Monitor jobsite safety and enforce compliance with company standards.

• Identify and resolve project challenges quickly while maintaining momentum.

• Represent Feldkamp Mechanical at project meetings and prepare necessary reports.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of project management experience with a strong focus on commercial/industrial HVAC projects .

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

• In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and construction methods.

• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and other construction software.

• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• OSHA 30

• Valid Driver's License with clean MVR; ability to travel to job sites as needed.

• PMP certification a plus.

Work Environment

This role is based in Lexington, KY with a blend of office and on-site project responsibilities. Candidates should expect exposure to active construction environments, including outdoor conditions, noise, and mechanical systems.
