Aerotek is hiring for General Production Worker in Spokane, WA -$19/hr

Job Description:

• Assist with operating machines that produce metal roofing and siding, and check product quality using a tape measure.
• Package finished products by placing them on pallets, wrapping, labeling, and preparing them for shipping.
• Use hand and power tools to build wooden pallets and pack small items like screws and bolts.
• Receive training to operate forklifts and help with other machines like press brakes and shears.

Responsibilities:

• Assist machine operators in manufacturing and packaging metal roofing and siding.
• Work on a production line to inspect products and verify quality.
• Package finished goods and prepare them for shipment.
• Use hand tools and power tools to build custom wood skids.
• Pick orders and handle boxing, packaging, and labeling of components.
• Potentially train on forklifts and assist with press brake or shearing machines.

Essential Skills:

• Experience with packaging and use of hand tools.
• Familiarity with machine operations such as press, shear, and roll forming.
• Construction experience using power tools.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.00/hr.
