Industrial Electrician – Fremont, NE

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (6 PM – 6 AM), Night Shift

Rotation: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team in Fremont, NE. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment throughout the facility. You will troubleshoot industrial controls, three-phase motor circuits, and advanced electrical systems to ensure smooth and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial controls, three-phase motor circuits, and electrical systems.
• Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and associated equipment.
• Perform wiring and hook-up of disconnects, switches, push buttons, circuit panels, breakers, suppressors, and transformers.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer’s manuals.
• Assist with installation of new electrical equipment or modifications to existing systems.
• Identify opportunities for electrical system improvements and communicate with supervisors.
• Utilize hand and power tools to diagnose, maintain, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and review work orders for accuracy.
• Consistently practice and enforce safe work habits and comply with all safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months industrial electrical experience , including PLCs, VFDs, analog systems, and advanced controls.
• Proficient with hand and power tools; able to read tape measures and industrial blueprints.
• Basic knowledge of electrical components and safety standards.
• Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).
• Computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work in refrigerated environments (45–50&degree;F).
• Ability to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other powered equipment.
• Must pass physical requirements and lift designated weights.
• Ability to stand/walk for entire 8-hour shift and wear required PPE.
• Flexible to work weekends and holidays.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $89440.00/yr.
