About the Job

As an Industrial Sales Territory Representative , you will be at the forefront of our business growth and account management. Your role will encompass existing customer retention & growth, customer support, relationship management, and product education through demonstrations. By educating prospective and existing clients on the benefits of partnering with a best-in-class supplier of industrial chemicals and specialty maintenance products, you will contribute significantly to our mutual growth and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Drive new business and manage accounts through cold calling, proactive lead generation, sales & product training support, relationship management, and exceptional customer service.
  • Educate prospective and existing clients on the advantages of our industrial chemical and specialty maintenance products.
  • Research prospective businesses, pursue provided a& self generated leads, identify decision-makers, initiate contact, and close deals.
  • Develop industry expertise to ensure quality conversations and perform effective product demonstrations.

Expectations:

  • Experience landing, developing and growing B2B accounts.
  • Persuasive communications, organizationally adept, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-starter with the ability to adapt to the pace of our customers.

Desired:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree. Business fields preferred but not required.
  • Previous sales experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with CRM platforms for planning & account management and online order entry.

Location

Our national headquarters is centrally located in St. Louis MO. We cover from territories throughout the Midwest, the Southwest, the Ohio River Valley to Northern Florida. If you are near the center of the USA, you’re on our turf.

What We Offer

  • Compensation: Competitive base salary with first-year earnings projected between $55,000 to $65,000, including salary, commissions, and milestone bonuses. The expectation of our Industrial Sales Territory Representatives is to earn over $100,000 by their fourth full year.
