ProspectBlue is partnered with a premier investment banking firm looking to add an Analyst to its team in Baltimore, MD!

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performance of financial analysis and valuation tasks, including in-depth financial modeling and evaluation of transaction structures ranging from senior secured debt to structured equity solutions;
• Drafting/editing transaction marketing materials such as pitch books, confidential information memoranda, and management presentations;
• Research and analysis of comparable companies and industries;
• Development of prospective investor/buyer lists;
• Procurement and vetting of all diligence materials, management of virtual data rooms, and coordination of relevant third-party work;
• Front-facing role in all other aspects of client engagements including regular interface with clients, communication with prospective investors, participation in management meetings, etc.
• Management of overall Capital Advisory pipeline/workflow and allocation of deal resources.

Requirements:

• Ideal candidate offers work and/or educational background in Debt Capital Markets and/or Leveraged Finance with a career objective to grow into Associate, VP, and Director role;
• Bachelors degree in relevant studies;
• Strong academic track record with demonstrated proficiency in finance and accounting;
• Excellent quantitative and analytical abilities;
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of intellectual curiosity;
• Superior writing and strong verbal communications skills;
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, transaction-focused team environment;
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently;
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word;
• Must obtain applicable FINRA securities licenses within six months of employment;
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 Years Experience in mid-market Commercial Banking, Investment Banking & Capital Markets, Direct Lending, or Private Equity;
• Holder of, or candidate for, any of the following designations or degrees: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• FINRA Securities License Series 79 and 63.
