Job Title: Journeyman Electrician Job Description
Comply with all safety requirements and actively promote a positive safety culture. Perform journeyman level electrician duties to install, maintain, and repair production equipment and machines. Plan, layout, install, and repair a wide variety of complex electrical equipment, including automatic machine and process controls, control centers and panels, relays, circuit breakers, electronic controls, tape actuated controls, and other equipment involving tube or transistor circuits. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, detect and replace defective control modules, test, and make adjustments. Perform regular preventive maintenance on production equipment, including air compressors, nitrogen lines, and lighting systems. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, forklifts, man lifts, and bucket trucks in performing duties. Comply with all safety-related procedures and processes related to exposure to electrical hazards, such as lock out/Tag Out, Arc Flash Hazard, and Electrostatic discharge.

Work EnvironmentThis position requires working in a manufacturing environment with the ability to stand and move throughout the facility for extended periods (up to 8–12 hours per shift). Regular lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs.; pushing/pulling up to 40 lbs. Reaching, repetitive motion, and frequent use of hands/feet for coordination. Visual acuity for reading gauges and documents. Tolerance for high-heat environments (90–110°ree;F) with required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and steel-toed footwear.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $79040.00 - $79040.00/yr.
