Pharmacy Technician – Refill Tech
Location: Philadelphia, PA (must be within 30 minutes local to the position)
Start Date: September 8, 2025
Pay Rate: $21 – $24 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
Assignment Type: Temp-to-Perm

Job Details:
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician – Refill Tech to join the outpatient retail pharmacy team at the University of Pennsylvania. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume setting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage prescription refill requests accurately and efficiently
• Perform data entry and process medication orders
• Handle customer service needs at the point of sale and over the phone
• Pull, label, and prepare medications for pharmacist verification
• Support workflow to ensure timely and accurate medication dispensing

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting
• National certification preferred ( CPhT and/or PTCB ); required within 6 months of hire if not already certified
• Must be able to flex start times between 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM and end times between 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
• Must be a local candidate (within 30 minutes of Philadelphia)
