Job Title : Manual Tester Job Location : Bothell WA Job Type : Contract Key Responsibilities : Perform manual testing of software applications, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing. Create, document, and execute test cases based on requirements, user stories, and technical specifications. Identify, report, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). Work closely with the development team to communicate issues and collaborate on solutions. Verify that fixes for identified bugs are implemented correctly and test the software to ensure the issue is resolved. Ensure that all necessary test data is available and validated. Skills and Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as a Manual Tester or in a similar QA role. Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Quality Center). Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices. Experience with bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). Basic understanding of programming or scripting (e.g., JavaScript, SQL) is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
