Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our primary care office team in Berwyn Heights, MD. This position is vital in coordinating patient care and providing support to our medical staff and patients alike.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Perform basic duties, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with patient assessments.
- Prepare and maintain patient records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Educate patients on health management and provide guidance on treatment plans.
- Assist in scheduling appointments and managing patient flow within the office.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety and health regulations.
Position Details
Part time:
Twice/ week from 9 AM-5 PM
Qualifications:
- Current certification in the state of Maryland.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required; we are willing to provide training for the right candidate.
- Bilingual or dual-language proficiency is strongly preferred to effectively communicate with a diverse patient population.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Salary and Benefits:
