The Opportunity

We areseekinga strategic and visionaryMedicalDirectorwithin Medical Affairstodrive the development and execution of medical affairs strategy and tactics forTelitaciceptinpSD.This is a high-impact role that will shape the global launch strategy, drive cross-functional execution, and ensure market readinessthroughstrong cross functional strategic planning.

You will be a key member ofboth commercial and clinical development workstreams to ensure effective cross-functional collaborationsto prepare for trial execution and launch readiness fortelitaciceptinpSD.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Medical Strategy: Oversee the development of US Medical strategy and execute tactics that inform and enhance it, including,advisorycommittees,ad-hoc advisory boardsand insights collection. This position willbe responsible forpre-approval medical education across various channels, launch planning, and evidence generation
  • Scientific & Medical Expertise:Serve as a subject matter expert in rheumatology, Sjogrens Disease, and the clinical treatment landscape internally.Acquireand continuouslymaintainexcellence with the highest scientific and medicalexpertisefor relevant indications within therheumatologytherapeutic space with acknowledgement internally and externally as an expert contributor. As a Medical community leader, this person will contribute andassistin delivering relevant training and materials for the broader Medical Affairs teams
  • External KOL Engagement:Drivecollaborations with clinical experts, other important customers,and stakeholders
  • Compliance and Integrity: Ensure all Medical Affairs activitiesmaintainthe highest standards,comply withapplicable US regulations,Vorpoliciesand procedures, anddemonstratethe highest ethical standards

  • Scientific and Medical Expertise:Demonstratedability to accurately and effectively evaluate medical/scientific literature and landscape to develop effective medical affairs strategies. Ability to develop andmaintaindeep knowledge in complex disease areas,treatmentsand clinical development plans. Ability to build productive collaborations with medical experts
  • EntrepreneurialProblemSolver:Track record of working comfortably with ambiguityand drivingtowards solutions. Self-starterwith apassion toidentifyanddeliver high impactwith little direction.

Education, Experience and Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD)
  • 10+ years industry experience working in Medical Affairs; home office medical strategy experience strongly preferred
  • 8+ years biopharmaceutical industry, clinical experience or post-graduate experiencerequired
  • Experience inrheumatology, immunology, or rare disease highly desirable
  • Proficiencyin scientific and clinical data review and interpretation
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Detailed understanding of US regulations and practices, including related to industry interactions with healthcare professionals and product access
  • This position is a remote US-based role; ability to travelrequired, up to 40% of time
