Create and perform functional, usability, platform compatibility, and stress tests on software applications
Assist the packaging staff in clarifying requests for software changes, understanding the reported problems, and identifying potential problems.
Design, prepare, document and execute on test plans and strategy and detailed test cases
Implement both functional and performance validation and optimization test cases.
Analyze test data, document the results and findings of the QA testing, and report on same.
Perform functional requirements testing of new software builds and test and verify technical documentation is correct prior to release
Must have-
4-6 years of experience as a software developer or quality analyst in a fast paced agile organization.
Also candidate should have worked on selenium webdriver , IDE, QTP,QC,SOAPUI,Junit, Webservices
Hands-on development experience with Java/C/C++/SQL/Python using Object Oriented methodologies.
Strong understanding of data structures, software design patterns and algorithms.
Experience and understanding of relational databases and proven ability to use SQL.
Experience working with one or more automation frameworks such as TestNG, Proboscis, Junit.
Understanding of web services and experience using and testing REST APIs.
Excellent analytically and communication skills.
Education: BS/MS degree/Engg (CS, MIS, CIS, IS, IT, CS & IS, Electrical Engg & related field

Nice to have: Programming experience in any language such as C/C++, VB, VBScript, Java, Perl, Python, Shell
Strongly preferred: Experienced candidates with minimum of 5-6 years of exp in relevant field
