Job Description:
We are currently hiring qualified MIG/Fitter Welders for a reputable company specializing in the fabrication and assembly of pole sections. This role requires a strong understanding of welding and fabrication principles, attention to detail, and the ability to follow precise specifications.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Read and interpret welding measuring tools including squares, levels, and tape measures
· Select appropriate fabrication equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding procedures
· Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld components to secure them in position for welding
· Set up and operate Arc, Gas-Shielded Arc, or Gas Welding equipment
· Assemble parts by bolting, as necessary
· Repair products by dismantling, reshaping, straightening, and reassembling components
· Operate fabrication equipment such as plate rolling machines, cutting torches, and related welding tools
· Clean poles and welds to meet quality standards
· Maintain and be accountable for essential tools and equipment
· Comply with all federal and state regulations, ISO Quality Program requirements, and company safety/environmental policies
· Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
