Music Teacher | Piano Teacher | British International School

I am looking for an experienced teacher of Music that is specialised to teach Piano. The school is very international with about 80 different nationalities of students and the staff are mainly from the UK and Ireland. This is one of the best schools in Dubai to be teaching in and located in a very nice location. Staff and students are very friendly.

The school has a "Very Good" education as per KHDA and is delivering "Outstanding" education to an inclusive set of students. It is very well facilitated and set in a location which is close to malls, gyms and parks.  The school is fully accredited by the Council of International Schools, Edxcel, IB, BSME and BSO. Requirements to Apply

1. B.Mus or a degree in a music related subject
2. A PGCE with QTS in musics
3. Experience of Piano is mandatory
4. ABRSM qualification is HIGHLY desirable
5. At least 2 years teaching experience
6. Western trained
7. Have a high command of written and spoken English
8. Up to date with modern technology

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:

Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)

Must be a native speaker of English

Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered

Prefer candidates with international experience

Open University qualification(s) are NOT accepted

Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted

Additional:

**Your bachelor's degree MUST be in Music
**ABRSM qualification is preferred
**Having a Master's is beneficial to your application
**Experience of teaching in the Middle East is beneficial to your application

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:

A salary from 12000 up to 16000   AED (UAE Dirham)per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE

Housing:

Based on application  fully furnished Housing provided

Medical:

State/Public medical provided

Flights:

Flight(s) provided annual flights are provided for the teacher

Bereavement Leave:

Bereavement leave given

Emergency Evacuation:

Emergency evacuation given

Gratuity Amount:

Gratuity Amount of the end of service bonus pay is 3 weeks per annum completed and paid at the end of the contract is provided

Contract Length:

2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
