A facility is seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage. The facility has a Level II NICU and averages around 200 total deliveries per month, with hospitalists expected to handle approximately 40 deliveries monthly.

This opportunity offers 12-hour shifts for OB/GYN hospitalists. Hospitalists will be expected to provide GYN coverage and back up family practice providers, but they are not required to perform circumcisions or serve as first assist, as that is typically handled by midwives, residents, or the group. There is no first assist available to hospitalists, and they are not expected to back up midwives. Backup is available through OB/GYN ED call.
