Registered Nurses are responsible for performing patient procedures within the nursing scope of practice, practicing safe medication administration and assessing patient responses to medication, and participating in reviewing and/or implementing clinical pathways and care coordination. This is a tier 3 position requiring a minimum commitment of 60 hours over a 6 week schedule, including 36 weekend hours and 1 winter and 1 summer holiday. The Registered Nurse will provide professional nursing care to a group of patients within a specified time period and complete all required documentation. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred; BSN within 3 years of start date required, current PA RN license active and in good standing, at least three years RN experience in acute care with two years of Med Surg Tele experience, BLS and ACLS certification, and evidence of attending and passing a Dysrhythmia Course.
