Personal & Professional Learning On-Call AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE Instructor (Applicant Pool)


Job Summary


We are currently looking for candidates to fill our part-time, semester-based teaching position. A PPL instructor might teach only one non-credit class in their area of expertise, or might teach several classes, depending on student demand for the subject matter. Similarly, a PPL instructor might teach one, two or three semesters a year depending on need. However, at no point will the PPL instructor teach full-time.


Personal & Professional Learning (PPL) offers a variety of professional development and leisure-based, non-credit classes and programs for adults, seniors and children. Job Duties


American Sign Language instructor.

Required Qualifications

  1. Degree/certification in subject area you teach and/or equivalent knowledge/experience.
  2. Familiarity and experience working with diverse publics.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Previous teaching experience.

  • Noise Level: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
