Job Description
We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD 2D Designer to join our team on a contract basis as a go to resource. This role involves creating and refining 2D drawings using AutoCAD LT 2026 needs to have experience with 2D not 3D.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, finalize, and modify 2D site plans, including topographical details, civil engineering layouts, and infrastructure information.
• Design architectural plans and elevations from scratch, guided by existing examples and input from engineers.
• Create detailed drawings of building foundations and structural elements based on provided specifications.
• Generate block flow diagrams based on sketches provided by engineers.
• Update and enhance existing complex site plan drawings with multiple layers and intricate details.
• Utilize AutoCAD LT 2026 to produce high-quality designs and ensure accuracy in all drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to interpret mark-ups and incorporate changes into designs.
• Manage and prioritize tasks to complete approximately 25 drawings within project deadlines.
• Ensure all designs meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Maintain clear communication with the remote team to address project needs and provide updates.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD LT 2026 and strong skills in creating precise 2D drawings.
• Experience in developing site plans, elevations, and block flow diagrams.
• Ability to interpret sketches, mark-ups, and existing drawings to produce accurate designs.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards in the waste management industry.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple drawing tasks within deadlines.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with remote teams.
