Metro Atlanta, GA Finder's Fee Available Summary Our client is a national manufacturer of building envelope products and is seeking a Project Coordinator that can develop the skills to manage the construction process from beginning to end through our professional development programs. Working alongside Project Managers this position will be a key role to ensure that goals or objectives of a project are accomplished within a prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Responsibilities Orders and manages project materials Plans and organizes assigned project resources Installs, retrieves and updates project documents, supervises punch list at projects end Manages assigned project objectives at direction of Project Manager or Operations Coordinates project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies Prepares project reports, work orders, purchase orders, RF info, memos & letters for management, client, or others Reviews project proposal or plan with Project Manager to assist in determining time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phase of projects Requirements Four-year degree in construction management, construction technology, construction engineering, civil engineering, business or related degree from a college or university; or two to five years of professional experience in the construction industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical.
