The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek a clinical psychologist to join the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Health. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience. The successful candidate will work within an interdisciplinary program in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Health, directing or providing care consistent with privileges granted by University Hospitals and approved by the University Board of Trustees. The psychologist will join a multidisciplinary team serving patients referred for treatment of depression and other mood disorders, providing clinical evaluation and assessment, as well as individual and/or group psychotherapy. The role requires thorough knowledge of DSM-5 and ICD-10 mental health diagnoses. Faculty responsibilities include patient care, education, and clinical research, with opportunities to contribute to training, research, and scholarly pursuits. Additional duties include participation in committees, conferences, and representing OSU at professional meetings and community engagements. The psychologist must practice within established Medical Center standards and policies. Requirements include a Doctoral Degree in Psychology, licensure or license eligibility in Ohio, graduation from an APA- or CPA-accredited clinical or counseling psychology doctoral program with an accredited clinical internship, at least one year of relevant post-doctoral experience, and Ohio licensure by appointment time. Preference given to candidates with experience working with mood disorder patients. The position is full-time at the Medical Center Campus in Columbus, Ohio.
