Boston Government Services, LLC. (BGS) is seeking a Safety Engineer to join our team! This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities:

• Apply knowledge of industrial processes, mechanics, chemistry, psychology, and industrial health and safety laws to prevent or correct injuries or environmental conditions and minimize effects of human traits that create hazards to life and property or reduce worker morale and efficiency.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• BA/BS Degree plus 0 - 4 years of direct experience required, or MS with 0 - 3 years' experience.
• Individuals that do not have a BA or BS degree will be considered on a two (2) to one (1) basis; two (2) years' experience will equal one (1) year of education or possessing relevant task-specific years' experience deemed acceptable by the Client.
• Successful drug screening.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BA/BS Degree in a technical discipline, plus 18 years plus of direct experience required, or an MS with 15 years' experience.
