Description We are looking for a Senior Scrum Master to join our team in West Des Moines, Iowa. This long-term contract position is ideal for an experienced and detail-oriented individual who thrives in Agile environments and is passionate about fostering collaboration and continuous improvement. The role involves guiding cross-functional teams, facilitating Agile processes, and ensuring successful delivery of high-impact outcomes. Responsibilities: Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure team alignment and progress. Promote collaboration and communication across diverse teams to identify and address dependencies and risks effectively. Support the transition from traditional project methodologies to Agile practices, fostering a product-driven mindset. Use metrics like velocity, burndown charts, and sprint health reports to enhance transparency and guide long-term planning. Partner with Product Owners and Solution Architects to prioritize and align on needs, capabilities, and delivery timelines. Remove obstacles that hinder team progress and ensure sprint goals and commitments are met. Coach teams to achieve self-organization and cross-functionality, promoting accountability and continuous improvement. Ensure the product backlog is maintained, organized, and updated in collaboration with Product Owners. Facilitate Scrum of Scrums and provide status updates to program leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Encourage a culture of trust, integrity, and openness while fostering growth and development for team members. Requirements Minimum of 7 years of experience in Agile and Scrum leadership roles, with a strong background in cross-functional collaboration. Proven expertise in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and experience with PI Planning and large-scale Agile implementations. Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, Lucid, and Miro for project tracking and visual collaboration. Demonstrated ability to use Agile metrics to drive team performance and improve planning accuracy. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, resolve, and escalate roadblocks as needed. Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or Agile Certified Practitioner certification is preferred. Experience supporting data integration projects and working with technologies like MuleSoft; Salesforce experience is a plus. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to mentor and inspire teams. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.
