Job Description:

As a Security Guard - Hotel Site Patrol - Driver in Winston-Salem, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more .

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a distinguished hotel and resort location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for guests, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also be expected to provide outstanding customer service, offering assistance and clear communication to everyone you encounter. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required as you will be responsible for patrolling various areas of the property by vehicle. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and maintaining visitor logs as required.
• Support the enforcement of location policies and procedures to help to maintain order and a welcoming environment for guests and staff.
• Collaborate with location management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs and concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required for positions that involve driving responsibilities.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
