As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment for tenants, employees, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with a diverse group of individuals, providing exceptional customer service while addressing inquiries and assisting as needed. Utilizing your keen observation skills, you will monitor access points, identify potential concerns, and communicate clearly with both team members and property staff. Pay Rate: $18.17 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location, including both the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and/or staff to provide assistance and uphold site policies.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local authorities as needed during incidents or emergencies to support a coordinated response.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
