As a Security Professional Unarmed Patrol Media in Hanahan, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with employees, visitors, and guests, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding access control protocols. What Youll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access and/or directions as needed.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential security-related incidents.
  • Complete required reports and logs in a timely and accurate manner as directed by Allied Universal and client site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
