WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

You'll fulfill a critical role in ensuring large-scale organizational changes are successfully implemented and adopted, using a structured change methodology. You'll focus on the people side of change, working closely with business leaders and program managers to ensure business objectives are met while maintaining a positive experience for our people. Your primary objective will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance. You'll partner closely with the program manager & project leads across multiple integrated workstreams to plan and manage the successful implementation and adoption of a high-profile, mission critical change. You'll also provide direct support and coaching to leaders as they guide their teams through transitions and manage individual change for their team members.

YOU'LL LOVE WORKING WITH US IF YOU HAVE:

  • Ability to develop comprehensive, outcome-driven change strategies and actionable plans, tailored to the unique needs and challenges of the organization
  • Experience defining and measuring objectives and success metrics; monitoring change progress & assessing the effectiveness and impact of change management efforts, adjusting as needed to ensure successful outcomes
  • Ability to lead tactical implementation of change plans, providing guidance & support throughout the change
  • Experience consulting and coaching project teams and people managers on:
    • How to bridge organizational change management and individual change management
    • How to support teams through individual change adoption
  • Ability to clarify ambiguous situations and direct strategically-aligned change initiatives as a recognized and trusted thought leader
  • Skills to anticipate and address resistance to change through proactive engagement, coaching, and mitigation strategies, fostering a culture of openness and receptivity to change
  • Experience designing and implementing communication plans, and drafting key communications, to ensure timely and transparent communication of change initiatives, progress updates, and impacts
  • Ability to develop and deliver training programs to equip people with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to adapt to new processes, systems, and ways of working
  • Experience identifying and managing risks and issues to ensure that critical problems are escalated at the earliest opportunity and mitigating actions are implemented
  • Ability to conduct thorough assessments to evaluate an organization's readiness and capacity for change, identifying potential barriers and areas of resistance

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:

  • Change Management Industry certifications, such as Prosci ADKAR CCP or ACMP CCMP
  • Direct experience utilizing change management principles, methodologies, and tools to ensure successful change adoption; experience managing change for mergers, acquisitions or divestitures preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience consulting on large-scale, complex change initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience preferred, or 8+ years relevant experience
  • Experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, excellent active listening skills
  • Proven track record of working as trusted advisor at senior leader level on critical, complex changes
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to build rapport, inspire trust, and motivate teams and stakeholders to embrace change
  • Courage and determination to challenge current practices and mindsets
  • Proven ability to establish trusted partnerships by demonstrating highly proficient emotional intelligence
  • Ability to apply analytical and critical thinking to navigate ambiguous situations and demonstrate agility in response to program evolution
  • Independent objective thinking, with structured problem solving and root-cause analysis skills
  • Advanced Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams)
  • Strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities
  • Reside within commuting distance to Stamford, Connecticut

DETAILS:

Temporary, hourly position for up to 6 months. This role may become full-time permanent in the future.

The targeted range for this role
is $70-110 hourly. Preferred location: Reside within commuting distance toone of our offices in Stamford, Connecticut
