We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Sheet Metal Technician to join our installation team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal ductwork for residential HVAC systems.
Responsibilities:
Measure, fabricate, and install sheet metal ductwork according to blueprints, specifications, and building codes
Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand and power tools
Layout and assemble duct systems, fittings, and accessories
Ensure proper airflow and sealing of duct systems
Work alongside other technicians and contractors to complete HVAC installations
Maintain clean and safe work environments
Follow OSHA and company safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or apprenticeship preferred
2+ years of experience in HVAC sheet metal fabrication and installation
Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and shop drawings
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal machinery
Basic understanding of HVAC systems and airflow principles
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders or in tight spaces
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with SMACNA standards
