Our Special Education Aides are crucial team members who assist in adapting curriculum, utilizing assistive technologies, and fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere for students with disabilities.
Responsibilities:
-Assisting the classroom teacher
-Work with individual and (or) small groups of students to reinforce instructed material
-Assist in compiling classroom communications
-Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and a safe learning environment
-Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the student learning experiences and support them as needed
-Support with personal care or hygiene as needed, including toileting
Salary
Pay: $22 - $25 per hour, paid weekly.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, within hours of 7:30 am - 3:00/4:30 pm (no weekend work).
