Job Description

Talent Acquisition Specialist

Reports to: Director of Growth

As a key member of the HR SOURCE team, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for driving both staffing and business development initiatives across our suite of services—including Contract and Direct Placement staffing for HR, Administrative, Accounting, and HR On Call support. This hybrid role blends candidate recruitment with client engagement to ensure hiring goals and revenue targets are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

  • Actively source candidates through social media, online platforms, internal databases, and networking to build a strong talent pipeline.
  • Conduct phone screens, video interviews, and skills assessments for a wide range of positions.
  • Coordinate client interviews, perform reference checks, and extend job offers to selected candidates.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with active candidates and clients to ensure satisfaction and alignment.
  • Implement and manage candidate retention programs through regular outreach and engagement.
  • Address and resolve employee relations concerns at client sites as needed.
  • Support recruiting-related projects or process improvements as assigned.

Business Development & Client Engagement

  • Generate new business and secure job orders by engaging prospective and current clients through phone calls, virtual meetings, and relationship-building efforts.
  • Conduct routine account reviews with clients to assess satisfaction, identify hiring trends, and propose solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and hiring managers across all lines of business.
  • Resolve client issues promptly while ensuring high levels of service and follow-through.
  • Monitor market trends and deliver insights to enhance our client value proposition.
  • Leverage platforms like LinkedIn and other social channels to connect with potential clients and candidates.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Lead or assist with special projects aimed at improving Talent Acquisition and Business Development strategies and processes.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, or client-facing sales is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Proficient with applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM platforms, and social media tools.
