Are you an experienced tax preparer looking for a flexible opportunity with an established CPA firm? We are seeking a Temporary Tax Preparer to join our team in Rockville Centre, NY. Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual and corporate tax returns with accuracy and precision.
• Review and rework tax files using  Lacerte tax software (recent experience in Lacerte is required).
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Analyze financial data and provide tax advice where necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold the firm’s professional standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience preparing both individual and corporate tax returns.
• Recent hands-on experience utilizing  Lacerte tax software.
• Strong knowledge of current tax regulations and accounting principles.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
