Job Description & Requirements

Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, the Non-Retail Pharmacy Technician assists the pharmacist in processing medication orders by assembling and preparing medications to be dispensed for inpatient and/or outpatient services.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or its equivalent certification
• Graduate of accredited Pharmacy Technology Program
• Must have a valid state of IL Pharmacy Technician license
• PTCB certification
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant hospital inpatient experience
• 1 full year of inpatient IV sterile compounding experience in a hospital setting
• Must be comfortable with possible internal offer

Position: Inpatient Pharmacy Technician

Location: Chicago , IL

Pay Rate (Local): $27/hour

Schedule Options:

• M-F 1pm-9pm and 3pm-11pm; float

Weekend Requirements: rotating weekends
