Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Certified Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role involves assisting pharmacists with medication preparation, dispensing, and ensuring safe and accurate drug therapy for patients. The position requires strong attention to detail, prior EPIC experience, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, dispensing, and distributing medications
• Accurately enter and manage medication orders using EPIC (Willow Ambulatory)
• Maintain proper medication storage, labeling, and inventory control
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, policies, and safety standards
• Support medication reconciliation and documentation processes
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare staff to optimize patient drug therapy
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy workspace

Skills and Requirements

• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication handling
• Proficiency with EPIC Willow Ambulatory
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
• Effective communication skills

Experience and Education

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Successful completion of a Medical Pharmacy Technician course (preferred)

Certifications & Licensure

• Current, unencumbered Oregon Certified Pharmacy Technician license (required at submission)
