Job Description

*Overview*
Davis Sanitation, Inc is seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our company.

*Duties*

* Operate trucks for the transportation of refuse, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
* Maintain accurate records of work orders, and routing
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding services.
* Navigate routes efficiently using GPS or maps, adjusting as necessary for traffic or road conditions.
* Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the truck, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.

*Requirements*

* Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
* Experience in truck driving, particularly with manual transmission vehicles.
* Strong knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation skills.
* Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality in deliveries.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team when necessary.
* Must pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
